Blogs will be used for students to share thoughts and comments about books they have read.
Podcasts can be used for students to read books. The readers to can then listen to themselves and/or other students read outloud and critique their reading.

ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of creating podcasts of reading books. I think this could really benefit struggle readers if they could listen to books read by fluent readers.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a good plan. Some of your readers who struggle could probably benefit from following along with a podcast of their teacher reading aloud.
ReplyDeleteI used Podcasts for exactly what you are thinking. I used it for students to improve their aloud reading skills. Most kids read very differently in their heads than they do outloud! I think it will be a great eyeopener for your students!
